NH Psychiatry accepts many major commercial insurance plans and New Hampshire Medicaid. Self-pay options are available for appropriate patients who are not using insurance. Medicare is not accepted.

NH Psychiatry accepts many major commercial insurance plans, New Hampshire Medicaid plans, and select military or managed-care plans. Coverage varies by specific plan, network, employer group, behavioral health benefits, deductible, copay, referral requirements, and authorization requirements.
Patients are responsible for verifying behavioral health benefits and network status directly with their insurance plan before scheduling.

Insurance coverage varies by plan. Listing an insurance company does not guarantee that NH Psychiatry is in network with every plan, product, employer group, or behavioral health carve-out. Patients should confirm coverage directly with their insurance plan before scheduling.
Medicare is not accepted
NH Psychiatry does not accept Medicare. Patients with Medicare, including Medicare Advantage plans, should seek care from a Medicare-participating provider or confirm appropriate options directly with their plan.
Because Medicare has specific rules regarding private payment for covered services, Medicare beneficiaries should not assume they can use self-pay rates for psychiatric services at NH Psychiatry.
Self-Pay
Self-pay options
Self-pay options are available for appropriate patients who are not using insurance and are not Medicare beneficiaries. Self-pay may be useful for patients who are out of network, uninsured, or prefer not to use insurance for care.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been approved in advance.

Coverage of Fees
What fees cover
Appointment fees cover the scheduled clinical visit and related documentation. They do not automatically include extensive forms, letters, disability paperwork, legal documentation, school accommodation packets, record preparation, or prolonged coordination outside the appointment.
Requests for forms or letters are reviewed case by case and completed only when clinically appropriate. Additional fees may apply.
Attendance
Missed appointments and late cancellations
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with appropriate advance notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in a fee that is not billed to insurance and is the patient’s responsibility unless prohibited by law, regulation, or payer contract.
Repeated missed appointments may affect scheduling availability, refill requests, and continuation of care when clinically and legally appropriate.

Patients are responsible for keeping insurance information current, notifying the office of insurance changes, understanding their benefits, and paying any copays, deductibles, coinsurance, or non-covered fees.
Medication refills may require an appointment, especially for controlled substances, medication changes, overdue follow-up, or safety concerns.
